What is a doula?
A doula provides a steady, nurturing presence throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. We’re here to hold space for your emotions, your questions, and your hopes — offering calm reassurance, practical support, and gentle guidance every step of the way.
Unlike medical providers, doulas offer continuous care — someone who stays with you throughout the entire experience, from those first early signs of labor to settling in with your baby. Having one familiar, trusted person at your side brings a sense of safety and connection that can make the whole journey feel more grounded and supported.

Yes! The distance I can accommodate depends on your location and whether I have other clients with nearby due dates. Reach out and I’ll let you know right away if your birth window is available.

I’m here to support both of you. My role isn’t to replace your partner — it’s to help them feel confident, prepared, and supported so we can work as a team. I offer guidance, practical tools, and reassurance so your partner can be as involved as they want to be throughout the entire journey.

What types of birth do you support?
I support all types of births. Every birth is unique, and I’m honored to support families choosing hospital, home, medicated, unmedicated, cesarean, VBAC, and water births. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in whatever path you choose.

When should I hire a doula?
When it comes to hiring a doula, the sooner the better. Most families secure their doula by the start of the third trimester, which gives us plenty of time to meet, build a relationship, explore your options, and prepare for birth together.
